Willie Docherty - Chief Executive

Chief Executive

Willie is responsible for ensuring that our resources are used economically, effectively and efficiently. He advises the ScotsCare Trustee board on governance, strategy and policy. He is response for ensuring that staff are well trained, resourced and supported in the, sometimes difficult and harrowing, work that they undertake with some of the most impoverished Scots in London.

Shona Keenan - Client Support Manager

Shona joined ScotsCare in 2003 and has worked in various roles within the organisation. Shona is responsible for managing the client support team and ensuring ScotsCare services remain relevant to the needs of Scots in London.

Caseworkers
Our friendly and skilled caseworkers are responsible for assessing the support required by each person that contacts ScotsCare. Once the needs of an individual have been assessed and agreed, ScotsCare caseworks will help individuals access the help they need to improve their lives. ScotsCare caseworkers are here to help Scots in London.

Volunteer Co-ordinator

Coming from the background of setting up a volunteer programme in a London-wide charity for people with learning difficulties, Ralph joined ScotsCare as the volunteer coordinator in March 2003. His role involves recruiting, training and supervising volunteers in various roles within the charity.

The charity presently has a volunteer befriending programme of community involvement and social events with a view to helping older Scots in London who are most isolated and would benefit from the company of others. Volunteers staff the telephone helpline and reception and are also involved with the fundraising programme.

Social Events Co-ordinator

Una develops the social side of ScotsCare's work in bringing together the Scottish community in London. She has been a permanent member of staff since February 2005. Her job involves working with our tenants, clients and volunteers on a range of events, including monthly lunches, outings and activities. Recent events have included a family outing to Whipsnade Zoo, riverboat trip to Greenwich, days at the seaside and the launch of our new community building at Bawtry Road.

Rebecca Brill - Housing Manager

Housing Manager

Rebecca is responsible for finding suitable tenants for ScotsCare houses and facilitating a smooth move into the houses. Rebecca is also responsible for making sure the 80 ScotsCare houses remain in a high standard of order.

Gloria Collins

Gloria Collins
Warden

Gloria joined ScotsCare in 2003 and is the non-residential warden at ScotsCare’s Bawtry Road & St Ninian’s Court complex. Gloria brings over 25 years of social care skills to ScotsCare and ensures the well being of all tenants on a daily basis and brings in appropriate services as agreed with the tenant. She also ensures that the building and equipment are in good order.
